When you claim your free student account you will be granted a free ColdStream-subscription with limited features. Upgrading to the full feature set is only possible within the frame of an Academic subscription at your institute. For the student account, note that:

  • Only school-registered e-mail addresses will be granted an account

  • The subscription will be granted for one academic year but it can be renewed yearly

  • Proof of enrollment at a university, school or any other academic institute must be provided

Diabatix educational grant

The Diabatix Educational Grant is a continuous support program designed to empower students and PhD candidates working on academic projects related to thermal and flow challenges. It was launched on April 1st 2025 in conjunction with ColdStream Expand. Applicants can apply year-round, and there is no limit to the number of grants awarded. Successful applicants receive full access to all ColdStream functionalities, dedicated technical support, and personalized coaching from a Diabatix expert for up to one year, depending on the scope and duration of their project.

To apply, please submit a proposal outlining your research topic, the duration of requested access to ColdStream, and how the results will be used or presented (e.g., publications, conferences). Selection is based on the quality and relevance of the proposal.
